Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoy the music, some facts and news, schedule information, and a little about who I am (well, at least who I think I am).  The web site is under construction, and combines my music writing and performing, and my music software publishing activities.  Please feel free to email me questions, comments, or booking requests to:

I was born in a small town, the poor son of itinerate gypsies and farm laborers….
No wait, wrong biography.  Actually, my father was a Navy Fighter Pilot, my mother was a Registered Nurse.  My first love has always been music, ever since I first sat down at a piano at 4, and especially after my first girlfriend’s mother introduced me to guitar when I was 15.  As my father would have none of me and a music career (I briefly debated on rebelling), I had a not so brief, not so insignificant, sojourn into the world of engineering, aerodynamics, supersonic fighter flying, and experimental test piloting.  Along the way, I got a Ph.D., which is nice, but cost me very, very dearly.  But all of that’s another story…

My musical influences from very early on were James Taylor, Steven Stills, Linda Ronstadt (really Karla Bonoff, as I have discovered), John Lennon (okay, Paul McCartney too), Jimmy Buffet, Bob Dylan, Elton John.  There were at least 30 others, but you get the picture.

I’ve never been a fan of really twangy country music, though I respect anyone who suceeds in their dream.  But, there are at least three items of irony here.  Firstly, there have been women in my life who motivated me to pretend really convincingly that I was a die-hard country fan.  The nature of the motivation is another story.  Secondly, mostly all of my musical friends say that essentially every song I write is a country song.  Go figure.  Thirdly, the fourth (or so) love of my life, my current music project “Too”, has been largely recorded in the same studio Roy Clark recorded in.  I can feel him slapping me around occasionally.  Go figure again.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the samples.  I can be convinced to provide full songs, with the right motivation.  Either live, or recorded.  The nature of the motivation is another story…
